Name: Katsumiyo
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Class: Geisha
Appearance:
Katsumiyo normally wears this type of kimono. She's big on jewlery, bold colors, and extravagent patterns. Katsumiyo does have pastel colored kimonos with soft shades of colors also. Although, she normally doesn't wear those unless she's in the mood. She's quite beautiful with her even-toned skin, (even though you can't see it because it's almost always painted white.) bright clear eyes, and slim figure. Katsumiyo is highly-selective (or otherwise known as picky) when it comes to her kimonos and head pieces and all that jazz.
Weapons/armor: N/A She's a geisha, she doesn't fight... ;D
Personality: Katsumiyo is extremely kind and caring towards everyone she knows. She always tries to befriend new people she meets. If they do not like her, she normally avoids them. Of course, if people bother her or tick her off, she generally blows up in their face and yells at them for being unconsiderate and disrespectful. It is of Katsumiyo's nature to be humble to people who are deserving.
History: Katsumiyo's dream wasn't always to be a geisha. Her true name is actually Hikari. Her mother had grown ill when little Katsumiyo was of 10 years of age. Her father had grown weary of his travels as a buisnessman and was thankful to find an excuse to stay at home to keep an eye on his wife. His buisness had failed and so, he was out of a job. They could not afford a doctor, therefore her mother died because of lack of treatment. Her father, becoming delusional and insane, sent Hikari to Kyoto where she was sold as a slave in an okiya (okiya is the lodging house a maiko or geisha lives in during the length of her nenki, or contract.). The "Okaa-san (mother)" of the okiya saw sheer talent in little Hikari and decided to undergo her in her training as a geisha. And, that's where it all began. After evolving from trainee, apprentice geisha/little sister, and finally to full-fledged geisha, she moved out of the okiya and rejected Okaa-san's offer of being adopted as her daughter. The offer was an honorable one, but Katsumiyo wanted to lead her own life.
