Name: Kawa Otonashi (Otonashi is her first name)
Age: 19
Gender: female
Class: Ninja/Shinobi/Hitokiri (Assassin)
Appearance: (Otonashi on bottom, Katsu on top) Otonashi is albino, and sports pure white hair and red eyes. Her hair comes down to her knees, but she keeps it pulled back in a ponytail. Otonashi is most commonly seen with a black and red mask on, hiding her identity from everyone. She dresses in black and has wraps running down her legs and arms and over her stomach.
Weapons/armor: Otonashi has a wakizashi strapped to her side, along with an arsenal of needles that she uses both for slashing and throwing. In the wraps, she has two black fans with a blade on the end. If extended, they can be used merely as fans, but if closed, they are daggers. Otonashi also can gain kunai from her brother, Katsu, and keeps some of them with her when he's not around.
History: Otonashi didn't utter a cry when she was born, and she didn't learn to talk until she was about five. Even then, she remained rather silent, only talking when it was necessary. Her parents always tried to get her to talk, but she never listened to them.
And then, one day when Otonashi was nine, two drunken samurai wandered their way down the street that Otonashi's house was on. They had women accompanying them, and it was clear as to their intentions. They were merely seeking a haven. The first place they saw was the Kawas' house, and so, they entered. Otonashi's father and pregnant mother ushered her and her twin brother Katsu into one of the back rooms to try and avoid the eyes of the samurai. From there, looking through a crack in the shoji, Otonashi and Katsu witnessed their parents' deaths. The samurai continued on to their business as Otonashi and Katsu cowered in the dark, dreading they would be discovered. Eventually, the samurai left the house with their companions, and Katsu and Otonashi were free to come out. They looked around at the house that had been destroyed by the samurai, and a fire ignited in Otonashi's heart. Picking up a shred of her mother's clothing, Otonashi crumpled it in her hand, tears falling on it, mourning not only her parents, but also her sibling that would never be. The fabric she held was stained red with her mother's blood and in the shape of what resembled an S.
From that moment on, Otonashi was never the same. She snuck out at night, only to return a few days later. She and Katsu remained in the house for a while, although it was more of a second home to Otonashi. She spent her days going around town, earning money any way she could. One day, she saw a merchant selling weapons. She approached the table, ready to buy a katana, but she only had enough money for a small wakizashi. Otonashi paid the man all she had and continued on with her new wakizashi. She trained with that wakizashi, striking trees and doing drills until she collapsed from exhaustion. It was in the grove she practiced in that she saw him. One of the men that had slaughtered her parents walked past her as she hid in the bushes. Ready to test her luck, Otonashi sprang from the bushes, wakizashi in hand, and proceeded to kill the man.
Her revenge half over, Otonashi made it her own job to teach Katsu all she could, using the shred of her father's clothing as their symbol. Little did she know Katsu had been training as well. They worked together as a team and nine years later are two of the most feared ninja in all of Japan. Although the two have gone slightly separate ways, Otonashi to that of an occasional assassin and Katsu still mainly a ninja killing as he wished, they still remain together, living in their old house.
Other: Otonashi has the ability to throw her voice, making it seem as if she is somewhere she is not, and confusing her opponent as to her location.
