Ryuu sighed as she whiped blood on his shirt. "Um, Arien? That's not exactly what I meant. I mean, I need to deal with some old problems with this dojo. For example, I need to double check the past owners, just to make sure they are who I think before I get all worked up." He touched the blood, got some on his hand, and smeered it on Arien's arm.

Arien shrieked and jumped back. "OH GOD THAT SMELLS HORRID!" Then, she proceeded to vigorously wipe the blood off her arm. "This...is...so...nasty." She shot a glare in Ryuu direction. "There was a reason I was wiping it on you."
After her little spasm, she glanced around the dojo. "And who do you think they are?" She folded her arms across her chest. He never tells me anything.

"No one of importance." Ryuu looked around the dojo, noticing every little detail. It was just as he had remembered it. He nodded his head. "I'm certain of the owners now, but not of their fates. That's something iIll have to figure out on my own, I guess."

Arien wasn't convinced. "Obviously they are important if we just came here and took out these guys." Her chin stuck out slightly as she clenched her teeth. Another one of her stubborn expressions. "I want to know why we came all this way to Osaka. Your not telling me anything."

Ryuu shook his head. "Arien, Arien, Arien," he said, disapprovingly. "It was obviously for a reason, but that reason is obviously beyond your conprehension. You'd best let it drop."

"Beyond my-" Oh, she was fuming now. "I'll tell you whats from my freakin' comprehension." She poked his chest with each word. "I don't understand why you won't tell me nor why you wanna be Mr. Secretive all of the sudden. We walked who knows how long and I didn't press any further on the subject. Well, now I wanna know!"

Ryuu gave her a pitying look. "I'm sorry, love. It's just something you wouldn't get, and I'm not about to tell you." He smiled. "See? Isn't that all better now?"

Arien clenched her fists. "E...Egh....BAH!" She turned around and stormed outside, kicking a dead body on her way. "Peh. He thinks he knows every freakin' thing." She gripped her dagger and stabbed it into one of the walls. "All high and mightey with his Sora whatever." She rested her head on the wall. "God why don't I meet normal people?"

Ryuu watched Arien leave without any trace of regret. He knew she wouldn't go far, and plus, he wanted some time alone. Making his way silently through the dojo, he entered one of the back rooms. The shoji slid to the side, creating dust clouds. Ryuu's gaze fell upon a dark, dusty room, not unfamiliar to him. He crossed the small space in two strides and pressed gently on a board beneath a mucked up window. The base of the wall slid open to reveal a space barely six feet by six feet. The ceiling rose maybe two and a half feet, requiring whoever entered to stoop down. Ryuu smiled, and worked his way into the cubby. It was a tighter fit than times before, but he found himself right at home. Reaching down, he grasped an old scroll and opened it. He began to read.
I'll get out of here someday. I swear it. Some day, I'll be free of this wretched dojo, of the two tormentors that hold me here. One day I'll break away.
And one day I swear I shall return to this horrible place. No matter what I have to do, I'll return just so I can laugh at the tombs of my tormentors. I swear it.
These things I swear on my name, the one thing I've kept from the mother that supposedly loved me. I swear to do these things, or I am not, and will never be Yamatiko Katashi!

Arien sighed and pulled her dagger out from the wall. She stuffed it into its pouch. "Better go see if Ryuu's got himself in trouble." Silently, she made her way back to the dojo. She always walked pretty quietly, so it was nothing new to her.
Upon entering, Arien noticed Ryuu wasn't there. Gazing around the dojo, it seemed a door had been left open. And, being the curious girl she was, she had to investigate. She gripped the door and leaned her head in a bit. Her eyes quickly adjusted to the dark. Before she called Ryuu's name, she noticed something. There was a tiny opening near the back wall. Arien walked farther into the room. She walked forward until she reached the wall. Stooping down low, she poked her head into the room. Ryuu was sitting there, reading whatever. So engrosed in his reading, she hoped he hadn't noticed her yet. She withdrew her head and sat on the side of the opening, letting her head rest against the wall. This place had more secrets that she thought.

Ryuu sighed, rolling up the scroll. He placed it in the pocket of his kimono sleeve. He started to leave, but found himself bumping into Arien, the scroll flying to the ground. "What are you doing here?" he raged, watching the scroll roll closer to her.

Arien jerked her head forward in surprise. "Wha...?" Then she noticed the scroll slowing rolling towards her. And, it seemed that Ryuu's eyes were watching it do so. Her hand shot out and she snatched it up. Wuickly, she stood and ran. Faster and faster, farther and farther. Tears started to spring in her eyes from the wind. Finally, Arien found an empty aleey and hid behind one of the piles of garbage. Her eyes quickly scanned the page.

Ryuu let out a cry of rage and took off after her. "What are you doing?" he demanded, trying to keep up. But it was no use. Arien was determined to get away, and so get away she would. Ryuu stopped running and fumed in silence for a moment or two. Katashi, I promise I'll get you back.

Arien dropped the scroll. So that's where they 'kept him. Actually, she was pretty surprised she lost Ryuu. It seemed he was losing his touch.

((okay. That was funny, but don't intrude in Ryuu's threads. I'm moving that post to spam.))
Ryuu stared after Arien. Stupid, idiotic female! he fumed. Crouching down, he took off at top speed, following the path he was sure she'd taken. He flew over the ground as silently as the wind, positive Arien wouldn't hear him. He overtook her soon, and stopped behind her. Unsheathing his katana quietly, he approached her from the back and held the blade to her throat. "Drop it. Now."
